What is the minimum group size for a booking?

At CQ French Brasserie, we welcome groups of all sizes, but we do have a minimum group size requirement for certain dining spaces and experiences.
For our private dining rooms, the maximum group size is typically 10 guests. This allows us to ensure that each guest has plenty of space to dine comfortably and that our service staff can provide the highest level of attention and care.

For larger groups, the minimum group size may vary depending on the dining space and experience you select. Our main dining room can accommodate groups of up to 50 guests, while our outdoor terrace can accommodate groups of up to 100 guests. And for full venue buyouts, we can accommodate groups of up to 150 guests.

But don't worry if your group is smaller than our minimum requirements! We still have plenty of options available for intimate gatherings and special occasions. Simply reach out to our team, and they'll be happy to help you find the perfect dining experience for your group.

How far in advance should I book for a group?

At CQ French Brasserie, we recommend booking your group dining event as far in advance as possible to ensure that you have the widest range of options available.

For smaller groups of 10-20 guests, we recommend booking at least 4-5 days in advance. This allows us plenty of time to coordinate with our kitchen and service staff and ensure that we can accommodate any special requests or dietary requirements you may have.

For larger groups of 20-50 guests, we recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance. This allows us to secure your preferred dining space and date, and ensures that we have plenty of time to plan a customized menu and experience that meets your specific needs and preferences.

And for full venue buyouts or groups of 50 or more guests, we recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance. This allows us to coordinate with our entire team and ensure that we can provide the highest level of service and attention to every detail of your event.

Of course, these are just general guidelines, and we always strive to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. If you have a specific date or event in mind, simply reach out and we'll do our best to make it happen!

Can I bring my own decorations or cake?

At CQ French Brasserie, we want your group dining event to be a true reflection of your personal style and vision. That's why we allow our guests to bring their own decorations and special touches to help personalize their dining experience.

If you have a specific theme or color scheme in mind, we welcome you to bring your own table decorations, centerpieces, or even custom signage to help set the tone for your event. And if you're celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary, we'd be happy to display any custom cakes or desserts you may have ordered.

However, to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests, we do have a few guidelines and restrictions when it comes to outside decorations and food items:
- All decorations must be flame-retardant and free-standing (no taping or hanging from walls or ceilings)
- No confetti, glitter, or other small decorative items that may be difficult to clean up
- No outside food or beverage items, with the exception of custom cakes or desserts (which must be from a licensed and insured bakery)
- All outside items must be approved by our group booking coordinator in advance
